Ōm namaḥ śivāya.

On Wednesday, October 9th, 2024, devotees gathered at the MA Centre in Singapore at 7 p.m. to celebrate the 7th day of Navarātri and the first day of Saraswatī Pūjā.

Synopsis of Mādhavāmritaji’s talk: Goddess Saraswatī is the mother of creativity. What is truly creative lends life to any form of art. True creativity can be attributed only to God, the progenitor of everything. If not for Saraswatī, we can accomplish nothing. Everything in creation, without exception, bears Her divine imprint. Amma is the Muse behind her children’s music and their artistic expressions.

Amma’s Teaching:
When we encounter creation, we ought to think of or remember the Creator. One of the meanings of ‘nava’ in Navarātri is ‘new.’ Navarātri reminds us that if we can perceive without preconception, we will always be able to perceive newness in creation.

The program was generously sponsored by Mr. Nedumaran and family, and Mrs. Ravi and family.

The program concluded with an array of beautiful bhajans.

We invite you to join us for the eighth day (October 10th, 2024) of Navarātri and the second day of Saraswatī Pūjā at 7 p.m. at MA Centre Singapore.
