Navaratri Puja 2024 – Day 6

Ōm namaḥ śivāya.

On Tuesday, October 8th, 2024, devotees gathered at the MA Centre in Singapore at 7 p.m. to celebrate the 6th day of Navarātri and the third day of Lakṣmī Pūjā.

Synopsis of Mādhavāmritaji’s talk: Goddess Lakṣmī is one who possesses all the lakṣmā (signs or attributes) of divinity, such as aiśwarya (rulership), vīrya (valour), kīrti (fame), śrī (auspiciousness), jñāna (wisdom) and vairāgya (dispassion). True wealth is not measured in purchasing power, prestige or popularity but the legacy we leave behind. Amma’s fame will undoubtedly rest on the rich legacy of values she has reinstated and the work she is doing to express those values. To earn Lakṣmī’s grace, we must awaken our lakṣya-bōdha (goal-oriented focus).

Amma’s Teaching:
We can draw God to us through pure devotion and inner purity. If we wish to propitiate any one of the Aṣta-lakṣmī, it ought to be Dhairyalakṣmī, for where there is valour and confidence, there all the forms of Lakṣmī will be present.

The program was generously sponsored by Sagar Dharan and family, and Sudeep Dharan and family.

The program concluded with an array of beautiful bhajans.

We invite you to join us for the seventh day (October 9th, 2024) of Navarātri and the first day of Saraswatī Pūjā at 7 p.m. at MA Centre Singapore.
