Ōm namaḥ śivāya.

On Sunday, October 20th, 2024, devotees gathered at the MA Centre in Singapore at 8:30 a.m. for the weekly satsaṅg.

Synopsis of Mādhavāmṛtaji’s talk:
Pūjā ought to help us see God in the Guru and the Guru in God. Through pūjā, we can develop a deep intimacy with the Divine. The lives of devotees such as Sulabhā and Pūsalār show us that what God loves isn’t the offering we make but the love and purity behind the offering. Through bhāvanā (imagination), we can nourish the seed of bhakti (devotion).

Amma’s Teaching:
Amma teaches us to perform mānasa pūjā–worship through creative visualisation. She says that God isn’t petty or jealous; He will not get upset if we pray only to our iṣṭa-dēvatā (preferred form of divinity) and not to other deities, because all true worship reaches the Supreme.

The program was generously sponsored by Sajith Menon and family, and Krishna Jayesh and family. The annadānam was sponsored by Sachi and family.

The program concluded with an array of beautiful bhajans and a sumptuous brunch.

Ōm amṛtēśwaryai namaḥ.

Ever in Amma’s Service,
