FOCUS – Values, Traditions & Spiritual Practices

OBJECTIVES

To introduce and interest children (ages 4 – 16) in spiritual learning and living
To try to instil in them an understanding of spiritual principles and to provide them with methods of applying these simple teachings into their daily lives
To prepare them for the world and for the challenges they will face, by guiding them in the application of Amma’s teachings

TEACHING METHODS

The Amrita Bala Kendra has been designed to include a variety of spiritual topics such that the children are immersed in fun, engaging, educational activities that are based on Amma’s spiritual teachings. The activities include:

Chanting
Bhajan Singing
Story Telling
Arts & Crafts
Celebration of Festivals and their significance
Service Projects

CLASS SCHEDULE –

The classes are held online, via Zoom. Classes are conducted weekly on Saturdays from 6pm to 7pm.

We are pleased to inform you that the next term will open on Sat 7th Jan 2023.
(Please note there will be no class on Saturday 21st Jan owing to a public holiday in Singapore that weekend – Chinese New Year’s Eve.)

FEES –

Please note the following fee structure for the ONLINE programme,

For Members’ children, there is no fee to enrol in Bala Kendra. Contributions to Amriteswari Society are always welcome.

Non-Members are invited to register for membership at Amriteswari Society so as to enjoy the Member benefits above.

Alternatively, the following fees would apply: Registration Fee of $30 per family per term (3 months). Contributions to Amriteswari Society are always welcome.

Registration is open throughout the term and you need register only once each term. Once your registration is processed, you will receive a link for your child to join the weekly classes.
