Kārtikā is the nakṣatra (star constellation) in which the moon was transiting at the time of Amma’s birth. Each month, on the day of Kārtikā, we honour Amma’s birth with a pūjā, offering our devotion and gratitude. Kārtikā Pūjā calls us back to prayer and remembrance of Amma’s presence in our lives.
