Significance of Guru Pūrṇimā
Guru Pūrṇimā, celebrated on the full moon day of the Āṣāḍha month, honours the Guru, who dispels our inner darkness and leads us to the light of spiritual wisdom. Guru Pūrṇimā gives us yet another opportunity to express our deepest gratitude for the Guru’s grace, guidance and unconditional love.
On this sacred occasion, we are blessed to share an inspiring message by Mādhavāmṛta Jī, who says in this video:✨”When the disciple surrenders, the Guru manifests His True Nature.”✨
What draws us to Amma–what makes us turn to Her for guidance, strength and solace–is Her divinity. When we surrender to the Guru, our hearts are purified and our faith deepens.
