DESCRIPTION:Amriteswari Society will be ushering in the New Year with two grand pūjās\, the Mahā Gaṇapati Hōma and Sarvaiśwarya Pūjā\, on January 1st\, 2025\, from 7 a.m. onwards at the Centre. \nThe Mahā Gaṇapati Hōma is performed to propitiate the Divine and to remove all obstacles to success. The Sarvaiśwarya Pūjā is performed to usher in auspiciousness into one’s life. DESCRIPTION:A monthly birthday is traditionally observed in India based on the moon’s position at the time of birth. Kārtikā is the nakṣatra or star constellation in which the moon was transiting at the time of Amma’s birth.
