SUMMARY:Sunday Satsang & Karthika Puja
DESCRIPTION:The regular Sunday Satsangs form the pivotal point of our Society’s activities. Satsang is an opportunity for Amma’s children to come together for group prayers. \nOn our Beloved Amma’s monthly birth star\, we perform the Karthika Puja at our Centre.  A monthly birthday is traditionally observed in India based on the moon’s position at the time of birth. The moon returns to this spot in the heavens\, approximately every 28 days. Karthika is the Nakshatra – star constellation- in which the moon was transiting at the time of Amma’s birth. As such every month on the day of Karthika\, we honour Amma’s birth with Karthika Puja.  \n \n \nThe regular Sunday Satsangs form the pivotal point of our Society’s activities. Satsang is an opportunity for Amma’s children to come together for group prayers including Amma’s Ashtothram and Archana\, Bhajans and Meditation. On the first Sunday of every month\, the Lalitha Sahasranamam in chanted\, and this is followed by the Mahishasura Mardini Sthothram. \nPARTICIPATION  \nSatsang is open to members as well as non-members who seek blessings from Mata Amritanandamayi Devi (Amma) for general well-being or for special occasions such as anniversaries and birthdays. SUMMARY:Maha Shivaratri Puja (In-Absentia Participation with Live Streaming)
DESCRIPTION:Amriteswari Society invites one and all to join online the Maha Shivaratri Puja \, that will be performed by our Resident Priest at our Centre. \nDue to the current COVID-19 situation\, we are able to provide only the option of IN-ABSENTIA participation for the Puja. Upon completion of the registration process\, you will receive a link to tune into the video live streaming of the Puja. \nPROGRAMME \nBetween 7.30pm to 8.30pm\, our Resident Priest will perform – Guru Paduka Puja\, Shiva Puja\, Amma’s Ashtotram\, Shiva Ashtotram with Archana and Arati. To participate in the offering\, please register for the Puja to receive the live stream link. \nREGISTRATION & PARTICIPATION \nTo participate in-absentia\, you will be required to purchase your Puja tickets. \nIndividual –  $5 \nFamily –  $10 (up to 4 persons max) \nWhere to get tickets: \nOnline: Puja Tickets may be purchased via our online registration form. Please note that online registration will close on Fri 21 Feb at 5.30pm Payment is via PayNow or via credit/debit card (additional fees apply). Please note that registration is confirmed upon payment. \nVOLUNTARY CONTRIBUTIONS \nWe welcome you to make a voluntary contribution to the event. if you wish to contribute\, kindly indicate your preferred option while registering for the Puja.
