DESCRIPTION:Every drop of human blood is a precious drop of life! \nWe invite you to come to our Centre (3 Hindoo Road) on 1st December to donate blood. \nDo note: There are some basic requirements you need to fulfill in order to become a blood donor. You may become a donor if you: \n\nare aged between 16 and 60 (Youths aged 16 and 17 will need to complete and bring a signed parental consent form\nweigh at least 45kg\nare in good health\ndo not have any symptoms of infection (e.g. sore throat\, cough\, runny nose\, diarrhoea) for at least one week\ndid not have fever in the last three weeks\nhave a haemoglobin level of at least 12.5g/dL for females\, and at least 13.0g/dL for males (effective from 1 January 2018. A test will be administered by trained nurses at the donation site.)\n\nLEARN MORE \nBe rest assured that in Singapore\, blood donation is carried out only through the Health Science Authority. \nClick HERE to know more about the blood donation process that will take only about 15 to 20 minutes.. \nUltimately\, blood donation is one of the kindest and most generous acts that one human being can do for another. The Digital Series aims to cover a range of tools from the Google and Microsoft Suite to website design and more.\n\nThe upcoming workshop will be a follow-up to the basics of using Google Docs\, and will take place on Sun 24th Feb from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm at our Centre (at 3 Hindoo Road\, Singapore 209106).  In addition to a short recap\, the session will focus on the collaborative aspects of the platform. As much of day-to-day work and planning in organisations are done through Google Docs and Google Sheets\, this would be a useful session for all to attend.
