DESCRIPTION:Ōṁ Namaḥ Śivāya \n🪔 Trikārtikā Pūjā – 3rd December 2025 \n“My children\, light the lamp of love within you and move forward. When we take each step with good thoughts and a smiling face\, all the goodness will come to us and fill our being.”\n~ Amma \nThe Kārtikā Pūjā is performed in celebration of Amma’s birth star — Kārtikā\, and is said to help diminish the ego and all negative tendencies that hinder spiritual progress and material prosperity. \nThe full moon that falls in the holy month of Kārtikā in Indian calendars is considered to be extra auspicious and is celebrated as Trikārtikā or Kārtigai Dīpam. It is one of the most ancient festivals in the world and is celebrated to welcome Goddess Ādi Parāśakti. Rows of agal viḷakkus (clay oil lamps) are lit in houses to ward off evil forces and usher in prosperity and joy. \nAs we light the lamps this Trikārtikā\, may we also kindle the lamp of love within our hearts — spreading light\, peace\, and devotion everywhere we go. \nThe Society will be celebrating this sacred occasion with a Trikārtikā Pūjā at our Centre on 3rd December 2025 (Wednesday) at 7 p.m. \nWe warmly invite everyone to join us and celebrate this special occasion\, and pray for Amma’s Grace. \n🔗 For more details and registration: bit.ly/Karthika-Puja\n \nIn Amma’s Love\,\nAmriteswari Society Singapore

DESCRIPTION:Spiritual Retreat with Swāmī Amṛtaswarūpānanda Puri\nVenue: Radisson Golf & Convention Center Batam\, Indonesia\nDates: Friday\, April 18\, 2025 – Sunday\, April 20\, 2025 \nSeeking Forgiveness \n“Forgiving frees the soul and opens the door to inner peace.”\n—Amma \nForgiveness is often seen as a weakness. However\, it takes tremendous spiritual strength to forgive. Spiritual masters\, past and present\, proclaim that forgiveness is one of the highest virtues. Forgiveness is the special focus of the second Asia-Pacific Spiritual Retreat. \nThe first ever spiritual retreat for Amma’s devotees in the Asia Pacific was held last year. Amma was pleased that her children in the region came together for spiritual activities. Since then\, the Asia-Pacific Amṛta Kuṭumbam (Amṛta Family)—or APAK—has been conducting various activities of a spiritual nature. These include online meditation sessions\, AYUDH meets and spiritual discourses. In the last 12 months\, devotees from other parts of the world have also started taking part in these activities. \nSwāmī Amṛtaswarūpānanda Puri (Swāmījī) has once again agreed to lead the second APAK retreat. This annual spiritual event will not only help us consolidate and boost the scope of APAK activities. It will also help devotees rejuvenate themselves spiritually through a blend of meditation and yōga\, discourses and Q&A sessions\, as well as games and cultural programs. \nWe invite you to take part in this retreat and spend a restful and meaningful long weekend with Swāmījī in the green sanctuary that is the Radisson Golf & Convention Center Batam. \nSubsidies\nTo make the retreat more affordable\, Amriteswari Society is heaving subsidizing the cost.
