DESCRIPTION:Om Namah Shivaya \nMay the Divine Mother shower Her grace and blessings on everyone… Happy Vijayadasami!  We invite you to register to participate in our Vijayadasami Puja\, marking Goddess Durga’s victory over Mahishasura to restore Dharma – a celebration of victory over evil. You may also register your children for the Vidyarambham (writing ceremony). Vijayadasami is an auspicious occasion for new beginnings in learning the scriptures\, arts and education.  VIJAYADASAMI PUJA & VIDYARAMBHAM :Date: Tues 8th Oct  Time: 7pm to 9pm Venue:  3 Hindoo Rd  Kindly note that online registration will close on Tue 8th Oct at 2pm. \nprogramme schedule for vijayadasami \nTue 8th Oct~ 7pm to 9pm: \nPaduka Pooja \nSaraswati Pooja \nAmma’s Ashtothram \nSaraswati Ashtothram \nVidyarambham (Writing Ceremony for Children & Adults) \nBhajans \nArati \nClosing Prayers \nPrasadam & Dinner \nParticipation & Registration \nFor the first 9 days:\nAdmission & Participation is FREE and pre-registration is not required \nFor the 10th day (Vijayadasami Puja):\n\nAdmission is FREE.\nIf you would like to participate in the Vijayadasami Puja\, we request you to pre-register to help facilitate logistic arrangements.\nYou may register as: PARTICIPANT (In-Person) OR PARTICIPANT (In-Absentia).\nArchana participation (in-person & in-absentia) fee is $10.\nPayment may be made Online while registering or via Cash/Nets at 3 Hindoo Road (on/before 8th Oct).\nPlease note that In-Absentia participants are required to make payment online.\nIf you would like to register your child for the Vidyarambham (Writing Ceremony)\, kindly complete the relevant section in the Vijayadasami Puja registration form.\n\nSponsorship \nWe welcome you to submit your interest to sponsor the Navarathri Celebrations. Kindly find the areas listed HERE and select your preferred area(s). \n\nREGISTER FOR VIJAYADASAMI PUJA (ONLINE PAYMENT)\n\n\nREGISTER FOR VIJAYADASAMI PUJA (CASH PAYMENT)\n \n \nNavarathri\, which literally means ‘nine nights\,’ dedicates three days each to worshipping the Divine in the forms of Goddess Durga\, Lakshmi and Saraswati. The tenth day\, known as Vijayadasami\, is the ‘tenth day of victory.’ \nOur Navarathri Celebrations will be marked with participatory Pujas that are described below. The first 3 days will be devoted to Goddess Durga\, the 4th to 6th days to Goddess Lakshmi and the 7th to 9th days to Goddess Saraswathi. On the 10th day\, the Vijayadasami Puja will be conducted along with the Vidyarambham (Initiation to Writing) ceremony for the young children present.
