DESCRIPTION:a special ritual to offer homage to our ancestors  \nOn Wednesday  31st July 2019\, starting at 7.30am \nat Amriteswari Society\, 3 Hindoo Road\, Singapore 209106 \nREGISTRATION CLOSES TODAY 30TH JULY AT 5PPM \n  \n \n\n“Through this ritual we are showing our respect\, our gratitude\, towards our departed ancestors. Giving verbal thanks only remains as words and does not get translated into action. By partaking in this ritual\, we are performing action – spending some time for others\, spending money for them and chanting mantras. We therefore get purified\, creating positive vibrations.”  AMMA \n\nAadi Amavasi Bali Tharpanam (known as Karkidaka Vaavu Bali in Kerala) is a traditional ritual where oblations are offered to departed ancestors\, to benefit and appease them regardless of when they passed away. The ceremony is performed on Amavasi (new moon) in the Hindu month of Karkidaka. \n\nWe invite you to register for this ceremony that will include a guided participatory puja\, (each participant will have their own individual puja setting)\, bhajans and chanting.  \n\nREGISTRATION DETAILS\nParticipation Fee for the ceremony is $10 payable via the following modes:  \n\nOnline while registering online\nVia PayNow before Wed 31st July \nby Cash/Nets at our Centre by Sun 28th July\n\n\nOnline Pre-Registration is required.  \n\nREGISTER HERE\n\nPlease note that registration closes on Tuesday 30th July at 5pm.  \n\nWe look forward to receiving you on this auspicious occasion
