Sunday Satsang, Karthika Puja & The Symbolism of Ramayana (Part II)

June 2, 2019 @ 7:30 am - 1:00 pm UTC+8

The regular Sunday Satsangs form the pivotal point of our Society’s activities. Satsang is an opportunity for Amma’s children to come together for group prayers.

On our Beloved Amma’s monthly birth star, we perform the Karthika Pooja at our Centre.  A monthly birthday is traditionally observed in India based on the moon’s position at the time of birth. The moon returns to this spot in the heavens, approximately every 28 days. Karthika is the Nakshatra – star constellation- in which the moon was transiting at the time of Amma’s birth. As such every month on the day of Karthika, we honour Amma’s birth with Karthika Pooja.
During his previous Satsangh in Singapore, Brahmachari  Shraddhamrita Chaitanya conducted The Symbolism of Ramayana (Part I). Part II will further explore the guiding principles of the Ramayana, enabling our minds to expand, hearts to lighten and spiritual perspectives to be deepened, thereby helping us to enjoy the beauty of every day life
